The Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church was built with a contemporary design in 1974. After 40 years, it became clear that the spaces for worship were too dark and needed better lighting. The interior design team at RDL was selected to create a brighter, more modern sanctuary that would instill a warm environment for new and existing parishioners.
All of the lighting was custom-designed by RDL’s interior designers, which included an interlocking three-ring light system, representing the holy trinity. This symbolic light structure was prominently installed above the altar to be showcased and enhance the main focus of the church. Additional cylinder pendants were added throughout the sanctuary to evenly balance the lighting, which also improves energy efficiency throughout the church.
