7Brew Drive Thru Coffee
7Brew is a prototype, drive-thru–only coffee building developed to support efficient deployment across multiple sites throughout the United States. Designed for Who Brew, the 700-square-foot outparcel structure prioritizes speed of delivery and consistency within a compact footprint.
The project utilizes modular construction, with buildings fabricated in a controlled environment prior to transportation and installation on site. This approach improves quality control and reduces construction duration—key advantages for a fast-moving development program. To accommodate varying site constraints and circulation patterns, both right-hand and left-hand drive-thru configurations were developed, allowing the prototype to adapt to a wide range of parcels with minimal modification.
The architectural design is intentionally brand specific and repeatable, balancing durability with a recognizable form. The arched roof, LED lighting, and prominent canopy reinforce brand identity while supporting operational needs. The canopy provides weather protection and organizes the drive-thru experience without increasing conditioned space.
This prototype also requires an accelerated and highly coordinated design process. Tight timelines necessitate close collaboration with structural, MEP, and civil consultants, efficient documentation workflows, and consistent standardization across drawing sets to support rapid replication across multiple locations.
