Circle North

In concert with our client’s mission to improve quality of life through neighborhood revitalization, affordable housing and integrated social services, and the residents of Glenville, our Placemaking Studio planners and designers captured their collective vision and translated it into a transit-oriented development (TOD) plan for the Glenville Circle North community.

The goal was to identify the strengths of the neighborhood to be leveraged, and issues to be addressed in order to create a true and successful mixed-use, mixed-income, TOD neighborhood. Urban planning and design principles were applied to the graphics and branding to create a human-scaled environment designed to encourage multiple modes of transportation with walkability as its foundation.

The plan’s vision for the future of Circle North successfully delivers a compelling mixed-use, mixed-income, transit-oriented neighborhood that is viable in 21st century Cleveland.
