Tempo by Hilton is a new five-story, 132-room hotel planned for the former Red Lobster site on Orange Place in Orange Village, OH. Working with Luxone LLC, RDL Architects developed a design that responds to Hilton’s Tempo brand standards while creating a distinctive destination tailored to its site and surrounding context. Guided by Tempo’s emphasis on locally responsive architecture and guest-focused experiences, the design features an expressive entrance canopy, patterned architectural screens, and a prominent vertical sign element that create a memorable arrival sequence and reinforce the brand’s “look up” concept.

Throughout the planning and entitlement process, RDL collaborated closely with the owner, Hilton’s design team, and Orange Village officials to address site planning, zoning, parking, setbacks, and other regulatory considerations. By integrating architectural design, site planning, and entitlement support, the team successfully advanced a complex hospitality project while maintaining the quality and character envisioned for the development.

Once complete, Tempo by Hilton will revitalize a prominent commercial site and introduce a distinctive new hospitality destination to the Orange Village market.
