The “Central @ 29” Apartments will be a new infill multifamily building located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The project will be integrated into the surrounding residential neighborhood, with architecture taking cues from simple detailing in the nearby one and two-family homes, mainly built in the first decades of the 20th century. By situating the project within a traditional neighborhood, residents will have easy access to public transit in a walkable neighborhood.

One unique feature of the project is that a portion of the 56 total apartments will be reserved for permanent supportive housing (PSH), while remaining intermixed with the other affordable apartments. Amenities such as a computer center, fitness room, indoor bike storage, wellness clinic, and on-site supportive services staffing will support all residents and help build community. Outdoor spaces will include a community patio as well as a tot lot to support resident families. Over 12% of units will be fully accessible to support a broader number of residents with mobility needs, and other universal design features will be included throughout both units and common areas to make the building welcoming to all.
