Friendship Village, an established life care community, needed a major makeover to stay competitive with the newer campuses in their market.  Partnered with Greystone Development, our design team developed a master plan that would allow for phased improvements.

The design transforms the community’s image by replacing existing outdated and inefficient buildings, adding new independent living apartment homes, repositioning the two-story nursing center and expanding community space with a modern fitness center including an indoor therapy pool.

The 72-bed skilled care was designed as four small households of 18 residents, each with its own living, kitchen, dining, and social spaces for activities.
