Streets of Indian Lake

The Streets of Indian Lake, a lifestyle center originally built in 2007, has undergone a complete makeover that has revitalized the previously barren and underutilized plaza. The placemaking redesign uses elements that are centered around creating a destination, a place that encourages people to linger.

Special attention was given to the details that engender a subtle layered experience: highly textured surfaces, a variety of gathering areas, thoughtful placement of softscape elements to create microclimates, manipulation of height to create views, and multiple distinctive gateway characteristics. Each feature was designed in support of the overarching story of The Streets extensive rebranding effort.
